Help us to help Linda!!

We, at Kiel Mortgage, have been honored to work with an amazing woman who has been battling with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for ten years. She is at a point in the disease's progression that she has been placed on the National Bone Marrow Registry. As a company we believe in giving back to our community through the many organizations we support on a continual basis. Now we are asking our community members to help us in one of two ways. The first is to consider becoming a bone marrow donor. You could be a match for Linda or the thousands of others who are waiting for this life saving transplantation. The second is to make a tax-deductible financial contribution in order to assist with uncovered medical expenses that place such a large financial burden on a person whose main concentration should be getting well.

Linda worked as a loan officer at Kiel for seven years and truly had an impact on all of her co-workers and many, many clients over the years. She is known as a warm hearted woman who is not only genuine but always takes the focus off of herself and places it on others. Over the years Linda would go to chemotherapy and come back to work the same day without mention of her treatment or a single complaint. She demonstrates a positive attitude in her outlook on life and is a strong woman of faith. All who know Linda walk away feeling blessed by her goodness and her ability to truly care about those around her. Even as she faces obstacles in her own life she still is the first to offer her assistance and go the extra mile in every way.

Linda recently retired with her husband of 44 years and has 5 grandchildren and a grandson who is due to be born this September. She enjoys family immensely and the simple pleasures that life brings; getting together for dinner, taking trips and being a wonderful mother to her three daughters and a nurturing, supportive grandmother. It is hard to put to words what an incredible person that Linda is for she truly demonstrates generosity and grace on a daily basis. Although Linda has never asked for and would never expect us to fundraise for her we do believe that good things happen to good people!
